Lipstick is something I never really wore up until about three years ago. I think I got some lipstick in a holiday Clinique collection I got and it "spoke to me" as I like to say! Since then I have been quite the lipstick connoisseur and would like to share some of my favorites with you.
Colourpop. By now I think thousands of people know about this brand but in case you haven't Colourpop is a makeup brand from Los Angeles that has taken the beauty world by storm. They are known for their wide variety of colorful products ranging from eyeshadow, lip products, highlighters, eyeliners, blushes, contour, concealer and even brow products. What I think makes them incredible is their price point. Lip products range from $4-$6 and the quality in on point.
Since today's post is about lip products we are going to focus on those for now. They have several lip products available: Liquid Lipsticks, Lipgloss, Lipstick and Lippie Pencils. They have matte, satin and blotted formulas. My personal favorite are mattes.
My favorites are:
1. Cami Matte Lippie Stick $5.50
2. Frick N Frank Liquid Satin Lipstick $6.50
3. Viper Ultra Matte $6.50
4. More Better Ultra Matte $6.50
1. Queen B $21.00- I wear this ALL the time. It is my go to and it's a perfect everyday color.
2. Suck It $21.00- This is a deeper brown color but it's still pretty neutral.
Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss $34.00- Sheer Pink Shine. This Dior lip gloss is plumping and I swear it actually works. I purchased this after Emily Gemma from The Sweetest Thing Blog recommended it. http://www.thesweetestthingblog.com/
Emily is my favorite blogger. I have been following her for years and actually found out we share the same birthday! She is so sweet and has the cutest family of all time. I totally trust her judgement and this was one product she has used for a while.
I like to wear this gloss alone or on top of other pinky lipsticks.
I wore it over a nude lipstick for my friend's wedding that I was a bridesmaid for.

1. Stripped Liquid Lip $20.00- This is my favorite nude liquid lip that I've found so far!
2. Trust Issues $20.00- I saw Kelsey Kinsman (selfmade makeup guru/ snapchat:kelseyksnaps) wearing this a couple times and wasn't sure because it is a lot darker (on the gray scale) than I normally wear but I wasn't disappointed. This is something I wouldn't normally wear as a day color but more for going out or special occasions. 
3. American Doll $20.00- Your true classic red. 
Sephora Color Lip Last Lipstick $14.00- I have only tried a couple colors of this line but I actually really love them. They have a really nice creamy formula and they smell good!
Urban Decay Lipstick- This is a great brand in general and I think they have a very nice formula as well. They offer many great bright colors. **I did try their Vice Lip Glosses and was super disappointed. They are really sticky and for the price, a let down.
Venom Vice Lipstick $17.00- If you want to catch attention, here's one for you. It is beautiful and will make you feel glamorous and powerful at the same time.
Trick $8.50-Limited Edition Vice Lipstick. This is on major SALE right now! This lipstick is so cool. If you need just a hint of sparkle but not something overwhelming, this is a great choice. It is gold shimmer but not obnoxiously gold.
MAC. I have a couple of the MAC lipsticks and although they are nice, they haven't trumped the products I've listed above. I think regular lipsticks tend to smear more than liquid lipsticks so maybe I need to give some of their other products a chance. The two colors I have that I do really love are: Rebel and Viva Glam I.
